To obtain a service hour sheet, visit Mrs. Huyghe's room.
Volunteers support Susie Q’s Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children in the community. The organization provides comfort bags filled with items such as stuffed animals, blankets, socks, hygiene supplies, sensory tools, and grief kits to children in hospitals, hospices, shelters, foster care, advocacy centers, schools, and other places of need.
Group service opportunities include participating in monthly stuffing events, typically held on the second Monday of each month at various locations. Volunteers may work together in groups of 10–20 members or sign up individually with families or guardians. Participation promotes youth engagement, empathy, philanthropy, and service while helping bring comfort, hope, and healing to children in need.
